Every stage performer must move and own the stage! From novice to expert, you learn choreography and options on how to create a memorable performance.
Songwriting
Dabbled in writing lyrics or music, or already released some songs? Either way, we teach you how to take your songs to the next level. Our artists have already been recognized and nominated for prestigious awards for their outstanding songs.
Play an Instrument
From newbie to advanced. Perfect playing an instrument for an audience. Practice playing while singing on your own, with a band, and ALSO wow the crowd. Learn how the deeper knowledge of your instruments allows you to perfect your songwriting.

You live to perform! We train you to raise your game — combining acting, stage presence and engaging performances to pull the auidence into a memorable journey. The audience loves you!
One-on-One Coaching for Your Solo Artist Music Industry Career
Through one-on-one artist/family coaching, we will build a road map with you to help you achieve your goals and career aspirations.
Our team has created and produced Girl Pow-R, who was the youngest-ever group to be nominated for Children’s Album of the Year in March 2020, while having performed at over 200 live shows in three years. Azym, another artist, has received world-renowned accolades for his music: 1) 2020 International Song Writing (ISC) Semi-Finalist in R&B/Pop Competition, 2) 2019 International Song Writing (ISC) Semi-Finalist in R&B/Pop Competition and 3) 2018 American SongWriting Award Nomination in the Pop Competition. Mauve, who is featured on this page has 7.1 million streams across all DSPs and social media and has been on over 1000 playlists on Spotify!
Each road map is developed through regular coaching sessions and is personal and individualized just for you.

We will be accepting applications from girls who are 9 to adults. Group classes are 9 to 11, 12 to 15, 16 to 18, and 19+.
Create a video of yourself and post it on YouTube. Submit the link — make it either a public or unlisted video so we can see how great you are! It should include the following: 1) Intro, 2) Singing, 3) Dancing. We’re looking for talented and committed young artists with great charisma, energy and personality who want to learn how to become a Star of Tomorrow!

Show us that you would be comfortable singing music live on stage! Any genre of music is great. Please sing a song you are comfortable singing, which shows off your range and provides a sense of who you are as a person.
Dance your very best dance choreo! Either something that you learned in another class, or something you have created yourself! Just tell us whether someone else taught it to you, or you did it yourself! Any style of dance is fine.
If you need to, shorten the sections to keep the whole video under 5 minutes — we won’t watch anything past 5 minutes! Just show us your awesome-ness in the video.
Dress in something you would wear as a Pop Star performer. Have fun and show your personality! We want the real you!

Your experience is way more important than a perfect picture!
1) We will review your audition for the Solo Artist Pop Star Training Program.
2) Around the world, the top girls will be offered the opportunity to register for this Artist Development Program and join this prestigious group of girls who are taking the world by storm with their solo careers.
3) Your classes will begin online to be able to reach broadly across the country and around the world. As you progress, in person classes will also be offered.
4) The Solo Artist Pop Star Training Program’s goal is to instruct and prepare gifted and talented young artists in the skillsets needed for success in the highly competitive performing arts sector, as well as developing you for other unique opportunities.

The Canyon Entertainment Group’s Academy has created the Solo Artist Pop Star Training Program to instruct and prepare gifted and talented young artists in the skillsets needed for success in the highly competitive music industry within the performing arts sector.
Canyon is focused on developing advanced skills, training and guiding artists of all ages, and giving them real-world experience in performing and sharing their craft to prepare them for a major label and/or independent artist deals.

In the beginning training levels, all classes are online. Once a sufficient number of girls have joined the training program in a particular geographic area, and COVID restrictions allow it, in-person workshops will begin to be offered in selected cities.
Performance Opportunities: Based on your level and expertise, there will be performance opportunities online with Star Pow-R, our sister organization. In your personalized coaching sessions, you can develop plans to enhance your solo performance and touring opportunities.
Mauve is a young singer from the Greater Toronto area who writes and co-produces her own music. Her latest single, “Shining Gold”, is an empowering anthem that inspires self-love and acceptance; it comes on the success of her last song which accumulated a total of 7.1 million streams across all DSPs/YouTube/TikTok.
This feel-good dance track gets people to understand that the way they shine, as an individual, is the way to feel most happy and healthy. “Shining Gold” was produced in collaboration with LYRE, an all-female LA-based production powerhouse with #1 charting songs on Billboard & iTunes.
Her songs have gained a milestone, reaching over 1,000,000 streams on Spotify, which have been featured on over 1000 popular playlists. She also has 1.6+ million plays on YouTube and gained 7.1 million views on Tiktoks that played her original music, and 300,000+ likes on her Tiktok videos.
Over the last five years, Canyon Entertainment Group created a triple-threat all-girl group, ages 12+ called Girl Pow-R. Canyon has marshalled them to a JUNO nomination (the Canadian version of the GRAMMYs) for their album of original songs. They have also performed over 225+ shows, and completed a US tour to Boston, New York, Philadelphia & Washington DC. Girl Pow-R’s JUNO nomination has made history as being part of the first young people to ever be nominated for Album of the Year in the Children’s category. Girl Pow-R’s song “Never Let Go” was recently on rotation on radio stations in the US and charted in the TOP 50, rising to #48 on the Mediabase charts in the United States.
